Baking, Learning, and Growing: Bright Light Lane Steps Into New Skills for The Porch

Bright Light Lane Inc. continues to pour into the growth of its team by helping them learn, improve, and strengthen the skills they’ll bring into The Porch, BLL’s upcoming community café. This November, the team joined a series of private baking classes designed to boost creativity, build confidence, and level up their craft in specialty breads, pastries, and more.
These sessions offered not only new recipes, but also a space to enjoy the process, grow together, and dream bigger for the work ahead.

BLL Porch Learner: Jasmine Tecson
Jasmine spent the day mastering soft, aromatic Cinnamon Rolls, Cheese Breads, and other specialty baked goods. The class focused on improving technique, shaping consistency, and achieving that perfect balance of flavor and texture. Every loaf that came out of the oven added excitement for what’s possible once The Porch opens its doors.

Day 1 – Premium Donuts
The group got hands-on with dough mixing, shaping, frying, and glazing—bringing home premium donuts that were soft, flavorful, and absolutely café-ready. The kitchen energy was light, fun, and full of teamwork.
Day 2 – Assorted Loaves & Premium Cookies
On the second day, the BLL Porch Learners expanded their baking range with assorted loaf breads and premium cookie recipes. The team discovered new techniques, adjusted flavor profiles, and refined methods that will be valuable once their baked goods become part of The Porch’s menu.
Bright Light Lane Inc. will continue supporting these experiences—helping the team sharpen their skills, gain confidence, and move closer to creating a warm, community-driven café for everyone. Each class is a step toward a future where learning becomes livelihood, and passion becomes purpose.
